. Install the applications: wget, unzip and java (openjdk-11-jdk)<\/p>\n
apt-get install -y wget unzip openjdk-17-jdk<\/pre>\n
This is the Debian package repository of Jenkins to automate installation and upgrade. To use this repository, first add the key to your system:<\/p>\n
sudo <\/span>wget -O<\/span> \/usr\/share\/keyrings\/jenkins-keyring.asc \\<\/span>\r\n  https:\/\/pkg.jenkins.io\/debian-stable\/jenkins.io-2023.key<\/code><\/pre>\n
Then add a Jenkins apt repository entry:<\/p>\n
echo <\/span>deb [<\/span>signed-by=<\/span>\/usr\/share\/keyrings\/jenkins-keyring.asc] \\<\/span>\r\n  https:\/\/pkg.jenkins.io\/debian-stable binary\/ | sudo tee<\/span> \\<\/span>\r\n  \/etc\/apt\/sources.list.d\/jenkins.list ><\/span> \/dev\/null<\/code><\/pre>\n

Update your local package index, then finally install Jenkins:<\/p>\n

Open a web browser to log into the Jenkins interface. Use the Jenkins Master IP Address, port 8080 :example\u00a0 http:\/\/192.168.40.131:8080<\/p>\n
